The North Star Ballroom invites you to experience the exciting and hip energy of North Portland's premier neighborhood event facility. It is your neighborhood space for weddings, receptions, holiday parties, and community events.

Rich interior colors, soft lighting, and beautiful maple floors define the spacious ballroom to create a welcoming environment. Your rental of The North Star Ballroom includes the main ballrom and attached bar/salon, a bride's room, cafe room, warming kitchen and catering prep room. The ballroom offers a stage, ADA access, piano, sound system, and theatrical lighting, and is equipped with fans, central heating and air conditioning.

The Northstar ballroom is the ideal location for budget conscious events, near the PCC campus and just down the street from the Mississippi and Alberta Arts Neighborhoods. Easy I-5 access, just 10 min. from downtown & 5 min. from Lloyd Center. We are located on the corner of Borthwick Avenue and Killingsworth Court.

Northstar Ballroom Rates: Saturday rates range between $1,400 for 100 guests or less to $1,800 for 200 guests. Included in that rate is use of the several rooms for a six hour block of time, two hours for set up, includes tables and chairs. On a Friday or Sunday we rent by the hour, starting at $250/hour for 100 guests or less and increasing to $300/hour for up to 200 guests. If you want to rent for six hours we will give you the Saturday rate. For Non-profit events or weeknight rentals, please contact us for rates. Rates subject to change without notice.
